Candlelight Music Tour
The Candlelight Music Tour at Astors’ Beechwood takes place every Tuesday at 7 pm until October 28. There, you will tour the Astors’ Beechwood and visit with the Astor Family by candlelight. Once your tour is finished, you will go to the ballroom to enjoy a musical performance. Throughout the tour, “the Beechwood Theatre Company brings the past to life as they re-create Newport’s golden era.”

International Polo Series
Come watch the USA polo team take on England and South Africa in September for the International Polo Series at the Glenn Farms in Portsmouth! USA plays England on September 5th at 4pm, and South Africa on September 19 at 4 pm. Be there for the finals on September 26 at 4 pm! On September 12 at 4 pm, come see the Newport Pro-am. There, “top polo pros in New England… and highly skilled amateurs…take to the field” to raise money for intercollegiate polo clubs.

Newport Gallery Night
The second Thursday of every month until December from 5-8 pm, come enjoy an art tour of over 24 local galleries and museums! All galleries and museums are within walking distance of each other.

Murder Mystery at Astors’ Beechwood Mansion
Interact in the Murder at the Mansion at the beautiful Astors’ Beechwood. You will search the mansion for clues, question the suspects and solve the crime. This fast-paced whodunit mystery takes place every Thursday at 7:00 pm.

Big Band Night
Big Band night is held on September 23 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at Astors’ Beechwood. The 18 piece band plays big band style music and you can dance to traditional, swing and Latin favorites or just enjoy the wonderful sounds of Swinglane.

Harvest Fair
The Harvest Fair takes place on September 3-4 at the Norman Bird Sanctuary. While there, you can “enjoy food, entertainment, games…and old-time favorites: the Mud Pit and the Monkey Bridge. Over 80 crafters present their unique work, with many people getting a jump on their holiday shopping.”
